i have 7 (and a half) bikes
6 of them have aquired punctures since friday.... (tho one that didnt was obviously my daughters old bike she outgrew... had to ride that to work today...was hilarious... my knees are killing me)
guess ill be visiting me bikeshop again tomorow with a shopping list of assorted inner tubes

but i cant buy miata.... missus still wont let me make up for having 2 seats by letting me tape the daughter to the trunk :(

Do you have one of these for behind the Miata?
(Please don’t do that.)

I get somewhat lazy when riding a bunch and forget to clean my tires off before punctures happen. This means I spend 20 minutes per tire removing glass with a sharp object and bottle of superglue to fill the holes.
Gluing every couple inches as you rotate the tire has absolutely no chance of going wrong whatsoever.

lol tbh i noticed my 29er getting a flat last night (that whole hey my rear end feels spungier than it shoulda thing)
dunno when the others punctured but apparenty missus and daughter just keep riding on flats and dont mention them.....and so i have 6 flats to fix
le sigh

Just wrap rags around the rims. So much cheaper than tubes.

Two Miatas?

great plan... tbh... normally i’d just patch the tubes... but im on lates this week... if i get up at 9 i got about 3 hours to play with (need to eat in that time too)... best i just remove all the sharp bits that fucked me tubes and replace em this time
may get meself a solid rubber clad trike as a back up tho
damn i hate puncture season

that would work..... but currently only one driving license in this house
missus failed her test last time and is having a hard time getting motivated for another go
(mostly coz last time she was working and paid for it all herself this time i’d be bankrolling her.... making it charity... she hates that... and i understand.... we be stubborn pridefull people here)

Excuses, excuses...
I can empathize with being stubborn- my wife is, and so am I. Though I’d say that anything from you isn’t charity, but to each his or her own.

i agree..... but i also agree with her
anything i didnt work for is charity
anything freely offered isnt charity
*brain short circuits*
